This is a regional fundraising initiative designed for Humboldt County that comes with match-funding and exciting prizes for Nonprofits and donors! Our first effort: BDOG 2025 raised over $12,789 for 14 Nonprofits. Our goal for 2026 is to enroll at least 50 Nonprofits and raise over $100,000 collectively. We seek at least $100,000 in match funds from corporations to motivate Humboldt County's donors to GO BOLD. GIVE BOLD.

Access Humboldt now offers our year-round short film incubator that guides 10 award-winning short film screenplays through the production process and a Red-Carpet World Premiere at the Eureka Theater. Humboldt County residents can now enter their scripts for a chance to participate in this year-round short film incubator that will result in 10 shorts created in Humboldt County each year. Participate with us every season of the year!

The Eureka campus for the College of the Redwoods is located just south of the city of Eureka. If you live in Eureka or North of Eureka, you will use 101 south and take exit 698, onto Tompkins Hill rd. If you are coming from south of Eureka you’ll use 101 north and take exit 696 onto Tompkins Hill rd.
Access Humboldt is now in building 6. Notice three paths that will lead you from parking lot C, D or E, to the front of the building. Parking passes available upon requests.

The Redwoods Listening Post (RLP)
The Redwoods Listening Post was formed in 2020 as an Internews-affiliated Listening Post project to cover the pandemic. Access Humboldt implemented THE RLP to equip and amplify the voices of Humboldt County's disenfranchised communities, inspired by the work done in our Eureka Information Ecosystem Assessment. Since 2022, THE RLP transitioned its areas of concentration to focus on the interests of Black, Latinx, Asian, local Tribal communities, and 2S/LGBTQIA+ residents. We emphasize these communities and their stories, because we want to build diverse local media collaborations to support local news and information efforts.
