To the residents of Humboldt County –
Access Humboldt is a non-profit, community based, public service media organization formed in 2006
to manage local franchise benefits on behalf of Humboldt County, California and the cities of Eureka,
Arcata, Fortuna, Rio Dell, Ferndale and Blue Lake.
We are currently seeking applicants for two open seats on the Access Humboldt board of directors
beginning October 2012. Both seats are for three-year terms.
The deadline to submit an application plus supporting materials is August 15, 2012.

3. In person: The Community Media Center is located on the Eureka High School campus. The main EHS
building sits on the corner of J and Del Norte streets. Enter the faculty parking lot off of Del Norte, behind
the auditorium, and follow the signs to our door.
Persons interested in serving a one-year appointed position are also encouraged to complete an
application. Appointed seats are filled by the newly seated Board after all elected and designated seats
have been determined.
Individual membership in Access Humboldt is a requirement for all board members. Membership is $25
per year. Contact us via one of the options listed above to obtain an individual membership application.
All members “in good standing” as of September 15, 2012 will be eligible to VOTE in the annual election.
