*Access Humboldt Announces Live TV Coverage of Thursday's Coastal Commission Hearing in San Francisco*

EUREKA – Dec. 9, 2009
With support from Commission Chair, Bonnie Neely, Access Humboldt announces a live cablecast of CAL-SPAN's coverage on Suddenlink cable channel CIVIC10 for the Thursday, Dec. 10, California Coastal Commission hearing in San Francisco.
The meeting coverage is set to begin at 9 a.m. PST, and will run through to the conclusion of the hearing.
Access Humboldt is an innovative, self-sustaining and trusted media resource for residents of Humboldt County. Access Humboldt covers local and state government meetings regularly on cable channel 10, as well as educational programming on channel 8, and community media on channels 11 and 12.
Executive Director Sean McLaughlin said, “Live coverage of the California Coastal Commission is a logical extension of our civic media programs. We're here to serve the community, and this is just another example of our striving to present the most important and timely government coverage to everyone.”
