Last day to file a petition for nomination for Board of Directors election

The By-Laws of Access Humboldt provide for members to be placed on the ballot by "filing a petition for nomination." Petition for nomination must contain a total of at least ten (10) signatures of individual members or representatives of organizational members, in good standing. (Only one signature per organizational member is permitted.)

The deadline for for filing a petition for nomination is Friday, October 3, 2008. All nominees who submit a qualifying petition by the deadline will appear on the ballot. Petitions with original signatures may be submitted by mail to: League of Women Voters of Humboldt County (LWVHC) Election Service, P O Box 3806, Eureka CA 95502.

The ballots will be mailed October 6, 2008.
