There are two (2) open seats on the Access Humboldt Board of Directors for 2008. Both seats are for three-year terms. (Terms will end October 2011) All voting for the AH Board is by written ballot only. The ballots will be mailed October 6, 2008. Ballots received by 3 PM, Friday, October 24 will be tallied. Mail ballots to: League of Women Voters Humboldt County (LWVHC) Election Service, P.O.Box 3806, Eureka CA 95502. The LWVHC will announce the results at the annual Access Humboldt membership meeting on October 28.

The Annual Membership Meeting of Access Humboldt will be held in the Eureka High School (EHS) Lecture Hall. Results of the 2008 Access Humboldt Board of Directors election will be announced by the League of Women Voters of Humboldt County. All members of Access Humboldt are welcome and encouraged to attend. The Lecture Hall is in the IT Building north of Jay Williard Gymnasium. This meeting will be followed immediately by a regular organizational business meeting of the Board of Directors. Agendas for both meetings will be posted here at least one week prior to the meeting.

An organizational meeting of the AH Board of Directors to be held in the Lecture Hall on the Eureka High School campus, immediately following the annual membership meeting. The agenda includes public comment opportunity, the election of officers for 2008-2009 Board term and committee reports. Full agendas for both meetings are attached below.
